WHO WE ARE

Dr. O’Holleran founded ZOMP while serving as Principal Researcher and Director of Advanced Imaging at the University of Cambridge. With 20 years of industry and research experience, he specializes in advanced light shaping, computational imaging, and 3D bioimaging techniques. His significant contributions include discovering exotic topologies in natural light fields, developing super-resolution microscopes at the National Physical Laboratory, and inventing whole-cell single-molecule imaging methods at the University of Cambridge. His inventions and deep expertise form the cornerstone of ZOMP’s technology, shaping a visionary future for spatial flow cytometry.

Gillies founded two companies prior to co-founding ZOMP. With two decades of experience in commercial leadership and building high-performance teams, he leads the commercial vision.

Dorottya brings expertise in imaging and conventional flow cytometry, gained through advanced cellular analysis during her PhD and high-throughput testing in industry. Her knowledge of complex data and assay development helps unlock the full potential of our technology for clinical and research applications.

Lukas brings expertise in experimental optics and photonics to ZOMP’s product development team. With his experience in interdisciplinary research he is leading ZOMP’s Product Integration efforts. He is committed to developing innovative solutions using cutting-edge technology

Jans’ expertise is in optics, image reconstruction and analysis, which he applied to various microscopy-related problems during his PhD (Jena, Germany) and Postdoc (Oxford, UK). At ZOMP he is focused on extracting 3D spatial & spectral information on a large scale population basis, pushing the frontiers of data analysis towards the goal of true imaging flow cytometry.

Natalia contributes biological support to the team with her research experience acquired at Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), DKFZ (Germany) and during her MPhil degree at the University of Cambridge. Her knowledge of various biological models and understanding of fundamental biology brings clarity and fosters collaboration with various lab groups and partners.

With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and over 15 years of experience in microfluidics, instrument development, and diagnostic systems, I’ve dedicated my career to creating innovative, scalable solutions at the intersection of engineering and biology. From point-of-care molecular diagnostics to high-throughput single-cell analysis, my work has spanned the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping to manufacturing and regulatory compliance. I was drawn to ZOMP by its bold vision to reimagine how we interact with the biological world through intelligent automation and next-generation tools. The opportunity to contribute to such a transformative mission alongside a world-class team aligns perfectly with my passion for integrating microfluidics, system engineering, and precision automation to tackle real-world biological challenges. I’m excited to help bring ZOMP’s ambitious ideas to life.
